Software Picks
Like so many other technology geeks, I have my list of favorites.
My current picks are
- Linux - specifically Gentoo Linux
- KDE - Window Manager for the X-Windows system
- Asterisk - Open source VoIP
- .NET Framework - this hardly fits my profile!
- Mono - this is the open-source implementation of the .NET Framework
- Vyatta - open-source routing on the Linux. This truly is an amazing product
- Zenoss - Open-source enterprise IT monitoring and alerting
- Blackle - Not really a software pick, but its an interesting idea
